Great product
This appears to be well made and designed. The biometrics and code pad work well. I repeatedly tried them both for several weeks before I installed it. It works as described. In my mind, there are two negatives . As someone else pointed out, the safe was delivered in the factory box which clearly stated the box contained a gun safe. Contrary to what the delivery driver said that he handed directly to a resident, the box was left on my front porch. Fortunately, I live in a rural area and very few people ride or walk by. Secondly, the method that connects the actual safe to the frame is extremely weak. A small pry bar would easily separate the safe from the frame. I drilled larger holes in the safe and frame and used a larger bolt and washers to strengthen the connection. I also did significant reinforcing of the piece of furniture it is mounted to. They will at least have to work a little harder to get the safe loose. Other than these two points, I like the product.
Well made but kept locking out for 2 minutes
Sadly, while you can leave reviews for third party sellers you can't leave reviews for Amazon. The pistol safe arrived a couple days early, however it was shipped by simply sticking a shipping label on the outside of the Manufacturer's box. The one that clearly says PISTOL SAFE for all of your neighbors to see. Try a little discretion Amazon and always ship items in an Amazon box.The safe works perfectly fine and the fingerprint reader is surprisingly effective. Does have some very bright button lights though. and a loud bang as the door opens.
Overall this thing is great works just like it should. the fingerprint reader is kind of picky, so i will probably just use the keypad. Other than that it is perfect for a quick access safe. i would recommend it.
